Today we celebrated our one year anniversary of being a family. The past year has flown by and at the same time, I don't remember life without Hannah. Words can not describe how much she means to me or how grateful I am that she came into our lives. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Thought you'd enjoy seeing photos from our celebration at our local asian restaurant. Happy Gellert Gotcha day!

Ok, so I don't totally have this blog thing down. For a complete view of the latest up-date pull up all postings for 2010. Next posting, I'll have it down.

So you know it has been awhile since you last posted when the password you thought opened everything no longer works and you have to choose a new one. Those hoops being done, I can now up-date you.

Since the last posting Hannah turned two, gained an amazing vocabulary, started running everywhere, started negotiating for more M&M's on a regular basis, tried skiing, and experienced her first Halloween, Birthday Party, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. We also traveled to NY for three weeks at Thanksgiving and Bend OR to meet our newest cousin Abby. Hannah has now completed 20 flights in 10 months! Time to stay home for awhile.

She sings and dances all the time and happily skips wherever she goes. (Her favorite song is currently "Happy Birthday" - the apple does not fall far from this tree.) Tomorrow we are having our two year check-up (I waited for awhile as I saw no reason to bring a healthy child into a Dr. office when the flu was all over CB) but I can tell you that Hannah has not gained a ton of weight. We may have reached 23 lbs now. She is much taller (taller being a relative term of course) and is still proportionally solidly petite. She's a joy and we laugh all the time. The other day we were driving to school, I realized I forgot our garbage bag filled with diapers at home. Hannah's response was "Oi, yoy, yoy!" Sometimes she is like a little Chinese Jewish grandmother all rolled into one.

I'm posting a smattering of photos from the last couple of months and I'll try to be better at keeping you all up-dated.

Happy 2010!
