Fall has come to the high country. We are having a wonderful time enjoying friends, playing, and traveling a bit. Below are pictures of a smattering of our fall adventures. Pictured below you will see us with our friends Maya, Harley, Aunt Annie and with Grandma and Great Grandma Rubin. You also see us receiving our Certificate of Birth (next comes a social security number then a passport!) We are growing and changing all the time. We're having a ball!
So I have fallen a bit off of keeping the blog current wagon. I don't know where the time goes but we've been busy and enjoying every moment. Here is a synopsis of our summer.
Clean sheets, a delicious piece of dark chocolate, a good book on a rainy day, a blue bird powder day, a summer's day in CB...as wonderful as these things are, they don't come close to how amazingly wonderful it feels to be greeted by Hannah when I pick her up from school. She is my sunshine.
Wow, I hadn't realized how long it has been since I last up-dated our blog. The last month has been so busy. Hannah has changed by leaps and bounds. She now weighs just over 20 lbs and somehow seems to have changed into a toddler overnight. We moved her car seat to face forward and it seemed to change everything about her demeanor. Suddenly she's chattier, stands with more confidence and is trying out all kinds of different behavior styles. She put her face in the water at the pool, climbed up the entire stair case, and she started pre-school today. She will attend the school two 1/2 days a week. She didn't even cry when I left her at school for the first time this morning. It was definitely much harder on me. Anyway, we are doing great. Hope your summer is going well too.
Years ago I passed the gestation period of an elephant which had been the longest pregnancy known. The wait now seems inconsequential as I am about to create a family with HuaHua. I know with all my heart, this is what I was meant to do with my life. And this, like everything, is in perfect timing.
