The end of this week will mark two months since we became a family. We have come so far in two months and I already can not remember life without Hannah. We are heading out to NY this Friday so we had a fairly quite week. The biggest event was getting a haircut for the first time (at least that I am aware of). We also weighed in at 19.1 lb.. ! Not a huge gain but we'll take it. Hannah's latest word is fire truck. She also seems to have become a vegetarian and although I tried hiding pieces of meat in her vegetables, that did not last long. She now inspects every spoonful that I give her before opening her mouth. Joy to you all and we'll be back to the blog the week of the 18th.

Where does the time go? This past week flew by. Since I've posted so many shots recently, I am going to only post one this week. I call this one "Hooray!" Stay tuned for next week...

Our first trip since China

This past week Hannah, Aunt Annie and I joined 20 some-odd family members in AZ to celebrate my mom's 70th and Gabe's 2nd. The trip took 12 hours on the way there and Hannah was such a trooper. We had a wonderful time with everyone and it was great for Hannah to meet so many family members and friends. Luckily traveling home was much smoother. We loved our time with everyone but are glad to be home too.

Another week older

Another week older and so many firsts: Rocking in the rocking chair by herself, sitting at her little table and doing a puzzle, drawing beautiful pictures, walking everywhere (holding my hands), sleeping in her own room, our first Reiki and Rolfing appointments (Thank you Auntie Judy and Auntie Susan) and all our new words. It was a great week!
